2″ Pit Strainer (8mm hole)

The Mountain Road Strainer Co PIT STRAINER is designed to clear debris off the strainers cage as it pulls water through it. The pumps exhaust air is pushed through an internal coiled pipe with deliberately placed holes along it. The air exhausts through these holes which, in turn, pushes the debris off the strainer to keep it clear.

The strainers shape allows for it to be used in many different environments. It will have no issues being dropped into an auger hole or into a sump. It can also be used for large roadway water make. We consider this strainer to very much be an all rounder.

The larger holes in the 8mm Hole Pit Strainer allow maximum water flow through your pump whilst the exhausted air keeps the strainers cage clear.
